Our health and social care training courses cover the basic needs of staff working in Health and Social care, but they are far from basic. Each course has within it extensive relevant subject information that learners will be able to make use of throughout their careers in Health and Social care, and the course materials provided as part of the training can be used as an ongoing source of reference by the staff. Our list of care training courses can be found here.
As part of our commitment to care sector training, Guardian Training offers a Train the Trainer course. This allows senior designated staff to train as a trainer, after which they can deliver training to their staff in the workplace.
Our broad range of First Aid courses cover all aspects of First Aid training, from Basic Life Support (Care Certificate standard 12) which caters specifically for staff in care homes, through to a one day Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW), a three day First Aid at Work course (FAW) and Automatic External Defibrillator training, which cover all industries and workplaces.
We also offer Paediatric First Aid training, for either schools or early years to meet the needs of those caring for children under 5 years old.
